Marijuana Tycoon

If you work hard, you can find a good job, and if you are well-organized, you can be a good boss, but if you not only work hard, are well-organized, and also have good ideas, you can even create a new job and be your own boss. 

     

David is that kind of person who is young, good at business and very clever, so he created his own job. Instead of wearing a suit and tie, he just wears a simple white T-shirt and baggy pants, like a video game player who stays at home everyday. If others try to describe his job, they would probably use the following words: illegal, drug selling, cannabis, and so on. These words may make his job sound dangerous and mysterious, but actually, he is a marijuana consultant which is very interesting. He helps others who want to start a marijuana business.

"Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration," said Thomas Edison, and David is a genius. Before he started this job, he spent a lot of time talking to many people who knew various different aspects, including people in the cannabis industry and lawyers etc. He took all of that information, did a lot of his own research, and then put it together. After a lot of preparation, he became the first professional marijuana counselor in the United States. 

"My job is to help teach them about the marijuana business and the legal aspects, and I hire other people to help teach how to grow," he said with a happy expression, because lots of people who want to grow marijuana need his help. They can not only get help with how to grow marijuana and sell it, but also understand the laws which are very important for their business because marijuana is not legal in California until now.

"I really believe in making it legal, and I believe it is important that we make it legal. It doesn't make any sense to me that we would lock anyone up for this at all," he said with a very serious and firm expression. Although his goal is ambitious, instead of just saying it, he is working on it in his own way, like talking to the people who he has helped in the past about why there will be a lot more opportunities for business as it becomes more and more accepted. Not only that, David also has another important goal which is to get more and more people to change their mind about marijuana.    

"I am not a doctor, but it is important to let people understand marijuana is medicine, and it can help with so many different conditions, and so many different diseases which is just amazing, because most drugs just work for one thing, and this is not like that," he said with a little smile, but the expression in his eyes is firm.

Right now, David is not only focusing on his marijuana counselor business, but also working with several large companies. One of them was just in Fortune Magazine which is a very popular business magazine in the United States.

"In the future, I will consider starting another company, and growing that company," he said with a confident tone.

I never saw this movie before. Through this title sequence, I just guess this movie talks about the vampires or soul, not only because of the the texts in the sequence, but also the tone of this sequence are a little bit dark. All the graphic elements in the title sequence really match with the emotion which is horrible. The music is fast-paced and follows the story of this title sequence, maybe the story in the title sequence is the background plots of this movie. Sum up, I like it.

This title sequence is really amazing! wonderful! unbelievable! exciting! It shows us the map of that fantastic world. The effects faultlessly match with the emotion of the show. The tone of this sequence is a little bit dark and yellow, so we can easy to feel the style of this TV show which is archaic and miraculous! The music used violins, it makes me feel very classical and elegant. Sometimes the tempo of the music is slow and sometimes it is fast, so the music is perfectly match with the effects. If I were the director I can not do it better than this one. I really like it.

The graphics in the sequence are really really beautiful and match with the emotion of the title sequence. It is montage! Really montage! It is really good! I love it very much!

In the beginning of this sequence, I saw "a PAUL WEITZ film", so it should be a movie, and I saw the title is "Vampire's Assistant", so it should be a fantasy film. The style of the sequence is dark, it makes me feel afraid, so the content of this movie maybe talk about the vampires or soul. All the graphic elements in the title sequence really match with the emotion. I like it~

Response: I agree with her very much! I also want to be one of her group members, because I have a similar idea before. My idea is to make a online game for the United Nations. The game has a huge world like our real world, and if we have some problems between one country and another in the real world, we can make war in the online game, and then we will get the result. The good thing is we can get the result without injuries and deaths, and the countries which are weak can know their gaps and deficiencies. I think we got the same goal which is through the online game to save the real world, so I want to be one of her group members, if I have chance in the future.

(Actually, I don't know who is the first lady in the United States but my English teacher said her personality is really good, so I try to research some videos about her. But sometimes, because of my poor English I can not follow all her sentences so I just talk about what I saw.)
Critique:
I really like the atmosphere in the video, maybe because of her status, I can clear hear all of audiences' cheers and handclaps. And of course, Michelle Obama's speech is wonderful and inspiring. But maybe because of my old major, I saw the background large screen behind the first lady is not perfect. I can only see the national flag of the United States, but it is stretched and looks really uncomfortable. The large screen looks bad not only in wide shot, but also in close up shot, I can only see two white starts. They do not look so nice. So if I were the producer of the show, I will put the map of the United States instead of the flag which is stretched. But it is only a little bit not perfect, the shots, the place and the light are really really good! By the way, I also like the first lady's personality and she is the most flash lady at that moment.

Critique:
I love this film so much. Because of ted is really a funny guy! And as a student who learn Multimedia, I think the shots and the dialogues in this film are perfect although there are many bad words in it, but I think is the style of its own. And as a student who learn Graphic Design, I think the color and the posters of Ted also very good. But if I have to give a suggestion to the film is to change the actor to Chris Evans who is starred in Captain America. Because he is younger than Marky Mark and I think his personality is more suitable. He is more like the man who has a Ted in normal life.(The image on right) And the actor in Ted who is more suitable to play the role in Transformers. But, in this film, his perform is very well. And Ted's behaviours are very like a blacks hip hop singer. I love this film, I love Ted, I also want to have one.

Critique:
I like this video because it is very interesting and it tries to use a funny way to talk about the media in the gym. But I think some questions do not relate with the main idea, like the last question: Do you want to join them or dancing with them? And if I have another chance to redo it, I think I will put another question or ask them Do you want to use your music player to play music for others who are dancing in the gym and then join them? I think this question is not only interesting, but also relate with the main point. However, as a whole, the images I used in this video took pains. And I think the result is really good~

The article named "A little local difficulty" adapted from the print edition of The Economist on Jul 7th 2011. The main idea is American newspapers have encountered difficulties, opposite, their development are very rapid in rising markets. Because of the technological development, internet and cable television appeared and got more and more advertising revenue, especially, "Craigslist" a very popular free website. So, American newspapers can not get enough income from advertisements. But, in Japan, because of the subscription, newspapers sell well, and the only problem is young Japanese don't like newspapers. In Russia, because of the government control, newspapers' sales also grow, and the youth like internet, opposite, the old people like TV. Indian newspapers' sales has already became the top one in the whole world in 2008 and it is still growing very fast. But the newspapers have already turned into unfashionable in the minds of the young.    

The response of "TV Can Improve Kids’ Behavior, Study Finds"

First, I am afraid the studies which research the relation of TV and kids' behavior should close. Because, nowadays, the children have their own individual thinking. Their parents don't have the power to control them about which channel they want to watch. And, now, some educational TV channels also have many violent films and violent advertisements because they also need ratings and money. So, the studies' findings mean nothing. They cannot stop the children and the TV station. What should they do? The only answer is CLOSE!

Second, the children can acquire some beneficial information from some violent films, so from this perspective, we can not stop them to watch the movies. For example, there are many many heros in the United States and most of them have their own movies such as, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Hulk, and so on. All the heros' films are violent. But they can make the children who have watched them to get some good information like, brave, staunch, patriotic...  It is a really important way to let the children have a positive view of the world. As a result, we CANNOT stop the children to watch the violent movies.

Christakis who is the lead author of a study and his team should laid-off together. Because he and his team's result of the survey is a big wrong. Everyone is different, and the children have their own character. Different character have different hobbies and different hobbies have different choices of the type of television program. For example, some boys like violent films but some boys like foam dramas, because they have different character. So, we can not control the children to choose some education channels which they really don't want to watch. It is devoid of humanity! So, Christakis and his team got a big wrong and they should LAID-OFF as soon as possible!

The shot which has a black cat and a white dog is very interesting, and I think the cat and the dog must fall in love for a long time. Because the cat touch the dog's back in a soft kind of way and snuggle up to the dog. In my speculation, the car is a girl and the dog is a boy, and their love is pure, very pure. Because, at that shot, they are very quiet and they enjoy the time they are together. So, they fall in love, but the only regret is they can not have a baby~

The actors look very similar. I think they have a same face, and the only different is their hair. Actually, there are many different people have a same face in the world. It is not rare I think. For example, there is a organization collect different people's faces technically. Everyone can put your head portrait on their website, and then, they will compare photos through the computer. At last, they will find the different people who have the same face and contact the two people to have a meet. Until now, they find more than 100 same faces. So, I think there must have a lot of same faces in the whole world.

I have a handsome brother and his name is Duofeng. That means an edge tool, Duopu's meaning is jade. So, when you put our name together, the meaning is make an elegant jade. But until now, we still are not craftsman~
